Direct factory supply of precision-engineered industrial valves for critical waterworks, chemical processing, HVAC, and municipal infrastructure.
Lug body butterfly valves constructed in CF8 (SS304) and CF8M (SS316) offer decisive structural and maintenance advantages over standard wafer architectures. Featuring tapped threaded lugs compatible with ANSI B16.5 and EN 1092-1 flange standards, these assemblies ensure uninterrupted dead-end service and downstream line isolation without system pressure collapse.
Tapped bolt lugs permit bi-directional sealing and full end-of-line isolation under working pressures up to PN16/Class 150. Downstream piping sections can be decommissioned or purged for routine maintenance while upstream line pressures remain fully energized against the closed disc.
Dead-End Rating · 16 Bar CapableEquipped with an aluminum alloy or pressed stainless steel lever handle combined with an integrated notched notch-plate. Allows incremental throttling between 0° and 90°, fitted with an instant latch-lock mechanism that prevents hydraulic flutter caused by flow turbulence.
Lockable Notch Plate · ISO 5211Body and disc castings undergo strict spectrometer material analysis to verify Chromium (>18%) and Nickel (>8%) content. Bonded or cartridge rubber seats (EPDM, Viton, PTFE) are vulcanized in our own rubber plant to achieve low operating torque and extended cycle life.

Tianjin Top Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. eliminates third-party manufacturing variance. With our owned foundry operations and dedicated rubber compounding plant, we oversee metallurgical chemistry, elastomeric compounding, CNC machining, and hydro-testing on one single 23,000 m² industrial campus.
Direct induction electric furnace melting of stainless steel and ductile iron. In-house chemical spectrometry checks avoid internal micro-porosity and ensure dense grain structures able to resist high mechanical loads.
100% Pour TraceabilityTianjin Dongfang Rubber Plant blends proprietary polymer formulas for EPDM and NBR seats. Strict vulcanization process control delivers high elasticity, anti-aging properties, and resistance to permanent compression sets.
Proprietary Polymer LabMulti-axis horizontal and vertical CNC centers process disc spherical contours and stem keyways with tight tolerances (±0.01 mm). Polished disc edges ensure low seating torque and protect elastomer liners from premature wear.
Micro-Inch Mirror FinishEvery single valve undergoes bi-directional hydrostatic shell test at 1.5x design pressure and high-pressure seat closure tests under ISO 5208 / API 598. Pressure logs and inspection certificates accompany every shipment.
Zero Leakage ToleranceProcurement teams across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia require verified traceability, standardized dimensions, and environmental resilience to minimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
Valves are engineered to seamlessly interoperate with international pipe standards, including DIN EN 1092-1 PN10/PN16, ASME B16.1 Class 125, ASME B16.5 Class 150, BS 4504, and JIS B2238. Flange bolt hole threading is precision-machined for metric and UNC threading.
Universal Flange ComplianceOur lug stainless steel butterfly valves comply with European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU), CE marking, and UK WRAS standards for drinking water. Fully backed by EN 10204 3.1 material certificates with full heat batch traceability.
WRAS · CE · PED · ISO 9001Global operators are standardizing on pinless disc architectures to eliminate stem penetration leak paths. Standardized ISO 5211 direct mounting pads enable effortless transition from manual lever actuation to electric or pneumatic modulation without dismantling the valve body.
Future-Proof Modular DesignTested in demanding industrial environments where downtime carries significant financial risk.
CF8M stainless steel lug valves combined with WRAS-approved EPDM liners resist corrosion from saline environments, raw seawater intake, and chlorine dosing systems, preventing iron contamination in potable water distribution lines.
Water Treatment PlantsSanitary smooth-cast CF8/CF8M bodies with mirror-polished discs and FDA-grade silicone or PTFE seats provide crevice-free flow paths. Designed for Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Steam-In-Place (SIP) line sanitation.
Hygienic IsolationFull lugged configuration provides reliable isolation on commercial chilled water loops, boiler feeds, and solvent manifolds. Manual 10-position throttle levers allow balanced flow regulation across varying branch headers.
Process & Thermal BalancingComprehensive answers regarding materials, dead-end service ratings, operating torque, and supplier verification.
A wafer butterfly valve is sandwiched between pipe flanges with long studs that span the entire valve body. If one side of the piping is disconnected, the valve cannot maintain pressure. A lug butterfly valve has individual tapped threaded holes on each side, allowing either flange to be detached while keeping full pipeline pressure on the upstream side (dead-end isolation).
Manual lever actuators are typically recommended for valves up to DN200 (8"). Above DN200, the hydrodynamic seating torque becomes too high for direct manual lever operation. For sizes DN250 (10") and larger, worm gearboxes, electric actuators, or pneumatic actuators are specified to ensure smooth quarter-turn control.
Our in-house foundry operates optical emission spectrometers to analyze every melt before casting. We verify that Carbon stays below 0.08%, Chromium falls between 18.0%-20.0%, and Nickel reaches 8.0%-11.0% (for CF8) or Molybdenum 2.0%-3.0% (for CF8M). EN 10204 3.1 Material Test Reports (MTR) are provided with every batch.
Yes. Our valves feature integrated ISO 5211 actuator mounting flanges with square stem shafts. You can remove the lever handle and notch plate by loosening the retaining bolts and mount an ISO 5211 pneumatic or electric actuator directly without modifying the stem or taking the valve out of service.
For drinking water and municipal lines, WRAS/NSF certified EPDM provides exceptional sealing resilience from -20°C to +120°C. For industrial hydrocarbons, fuel oils, and hydraulic systems, NBR or Viton (FKM) is recommended. For strong acids, alkalis, and pharmaceutical media, pure PTFE liners offer maximum chemical resistance.
Because we cast our own valve bodies and formulate our own rubber seats on site, standard sized lug butterfly valves (DN50-DN300) in CF8/CF8M typically ship within 15 to 25 days. Customized flange drilling or special alloy runs can be fulfilled within 30 to 35 days from our Tianjin port facilities.
